Thomas Tuchel, Paris Saint-Germain’s coach, said there’s no room for racism in football, but said he didn’t hear any remarks related to Neymar, who accused Marseille defender Alvaro of violence.
Tuchel was asked about the incident at his aftermatch news conference.
“What did I say? He [Neymar] told me it was a racial joke but on the pitch, I heard nothing, “Tuchel said.
When he became aware of Neymar’s social media message, Tuchel replied: “I think everyone agrees on that racial discrimination can not exist in all of society, in sport on our life. Clearly, but I haven’t seen that today, nor has the referee [did] answer that question.”
