The Paris Saint-Germain boss Thomas Tuchel hailed his squad after another domestic trophy.

Since completing a domestic sweep Thomas Tuchel was proud of Paris Saint-Germain by defeating Lyon in the final of the Coupe de la Ligue.

PSG beat Lyon 6-5 on penalties after a 0-0 draw at the Stade de France on Friday, capturing their fourth domestic trophy of 2019-20!

Tuchel, whose team also will be in the Champions League quarter-finals, was proud of PSG.

The PSG coach said: “They are good guys who compete, enjoy working and suffering together. I’m really happy about it. I ‘m pleased and proud.”

Pablo Sarabia scored the winning penalty for PSG in the shoot-out in what was the last ever Coupe de la Ligue finale.

Tuchel praised PSG ‘s accomplishment of winning four titles this season: Ligue 1, the Coupe de France, and the Trophee des Champions.

“We haven’t lost the determination, the desire to win, the confidence, the penalties that we’ve won, and that counts. We won these four titles, there’s a good atmosphere in the locker room, and I’m very happy because everyone thinks winning is all right, but it’s not that simple. This team has the merit and I am happy to win four titles,” he said.

PSG will face Atalanta in the Champions League quarter-finals in Lisbon on 12 August.
