Tottenham Hotspur won the Premier League for the third time in a row, defeating Crystal Palace. Both Gareth Bale and Harry Kane scored two goals.
Bale, who is on loan at Real Madrid, had Kane to thank for both of his goals, tapping in from Kane’s cross and then heading in a superb second from another Kane assist.
Christian Benteke had equalized for Palace with a fine header from Luka Milivojevic’s cross between those two goals.
Despite hitting the post thanks to the return of Wilfried Zaha, Roy Hodgson’s side was unable to cope with the hosts’ firepower.
Kane, who had previously worked as a dealer, scored the game’s first goal with a fantastic 20-yard finish into the top right corner, before Son Heung-cut-back min’s completed the scoring.
The goal was notable because Kane and Son now have more Premier League goals in a single season than any other duo.
Tottenham moves up to sixth place in the table, just two points outside the top four, while Palace stays in 13th.
