Manchester United is interested in signing Erling Haaland from Borussia Dortmund this summer.
According to news, Manchester United target, Erling Haaland needs £350,000 a week from his next club. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has reached an agreement with John Murtough to sign the Borussia Dortmund midfielder this summer. And whether or not they succeed in their search remains to be seen.
Manchester United is on the lookout for a new striker. Edinson Cavani’s contract expires at the end of the season, so there’s still a lot of uncertainty surrounding him.
Both Anthony Martial and Mason Greenwood have only scored five Premier League goals this season, which isn’t good enough.
Despite their impressive performances in the academy, Charlie McNeill and Joe Hugill are both too young to be promoted.
With all of this in mind, United is eager to sign Haaland.
Both Solskjaer and the club’s new football director, Murtaugh, believe that the Borussia Dortmund star should be the club’s top priority in the summer transfer market.
According to the Manchester Evening News, Dortmund’s striker wants a £350,000-a-week package from whoever he joins next.
If United agrees to pay that sum to the 20-year-old, he will overtake David De Gea as United’s joint-highest earner.
It would also suggest he earns more at the Theatre of Dreams than Paul Pogba, Marcus Rashford, and Bruno Fernandes.
United are reportedly confident in their ability to win the race for Haaland because of Solskjaer, who previously controlled his compatriot Molde.
