According to an article in La Sexta, Valencia are on the verge of sacking boss Javi Gracia and have already selected their replacement.
Gracia’s side, only named this summer, languish in the relegation zone with 15 points from 16 games, but will climb out of the bottom three if they beat Cadiz on Monday night, while La Liga news is dominated by their form.
The latest report, however, claims that a bad outcome for Los Che would place Gracia on the verge of being able to terminate his deal with club bosses.

The report says that the man who was chosen as his replacement is Michel Gonzalez, formerly of Getafe, Sevilla, Olympiakos, Marseille, Malaga, and others.

Gracia met with club chairman Anil Murthy and his representatives as outlined by Marca in October as he sought clarity on why none of his demanded transfer goals were signed, or indeed anyone else.

By the summer of 2022, Gracia had signed a two-year deal with the club and is the seventh permanent director since the club was taken over by owner Peter Lim.

This summer, eight first-team squad members left the Mestalla with no additions.

Reports suggest that the financial instability suggests that for the new campaign, Los Che would reduce their wage budget by a whopping 40 percent, with the financial condition of the club justifying the squad’s demolition.
