After being approached to play in the Caribbean nation’s 2022 World Cup qualification campaign, Michail Antonio is likely to transfer his international allegiance from England to Jamaica.

Antonio was previously called by both Sam Allardyce and Gareth Southgate to the England team, but with the Three Lions, he has yet to win full international honors.

The Jamaica Football Federation has contacted Antonio and would like to include him in the squad this autumn for their CONCACAF qualifiers, according to the Telegraph.

It is anticipated that Antonio will support the strategy and turn allegiances.
