PSG Qatari owners QSI looking to invest in the Premier League

The Qatari owners of PSG, QSI are looking to invest in a Premier League club. Daniel Levy, the executive chairman of Tottenham Hotspur, and Nasser Al-Khelaifi, the president of PSG and head of Qatar Sports Investments, met last week in a hotel in London. Levy is a member of the European Club Association’s executive board, and Al-Khelaifi serves as the organization’s president. QSI is keen to purchase or invest in additional clubs this year. They now hold PSG and a small investment in the Portuguese club Braga. Multi-club ownership groups include more than 300 clubs worldwide, although QSI only has stakes in PSG and Braga. This will alter in 2023, a year in which QSI plans to make a number of bold strategic purchases.

After the World Cup in Qatar, many analysts predicted that QSI would become less interested in investing in the Premier League, but the likelihood is that the exact reverse will occur. It is well known that Manchester United and Liverpool’s owners are looking for investors or purchasers for their organizations. Football investment prospects are being examined by QSI globally.

Youssef En-Neysri, a forward for Sevilla, is being courted by West Ham. The 25-year-remaining old’s two and a half years on his contract make it challenging to reach an agreement. Sevilla is likewise having trouble in the lower echelons of La Liga; they are only above the drop zone on goal differential; as a result, they might not be eager to allow one of their important players to leave this month.

En-Nesyri started each of Morocco’s seven games during the World Cup in Qatar, helping his country become the first one from Africa to get to the quarterfinals. During that legendary run, he scored twice, defeating Portugal in the quarterfinals and Canada in the group stage. This season, he has made 12 appearances for Sevilla in Spain’s top division, however he has not yet scored. In 125 games since joining the team in 2020, he has scored 40 goals for Leganes.
